"Awareness is the secret to finding consistency, continuous intrigue, and joy in the journey of life." - MM
Madison is a former swim athlete and current yoga, strength training, and swim coach. She is a certified 200hr yoga instructor, NASM CPT, Red Cross certified swim teacher, neuroscience and psychology undergraduate from Hunter College, and certified performance and movement specialist.
Madison has developed curriculum for some of the top schools in Brooklyn and NYC for their learn to swim aquatics. She has helped people of all ages from 3.5yrs to 75yrs learn how to swim, and begin or refine their yoga practice and strength training routine.
Having worked with a variety of ages and ranges of ability, Madison is dedicated to identifying the unique needs of her students and tailoring their program accordingly.
Her style is a blend of her experience as an athlete, coach, yoga teacher, and swim instructor. Madison views and approaches the body as an intelligent system that works synergistically together and, that when approached from the space of awareness, can be re-patterned and powerful.
Madison works with her students to find ways of re patterning their movement compensations and misalignments, and increasing their proprioception and motor control via a finely tuned attention to detail.
